Our Mission
The Hudson Henriksen Foundation was established in memory of Hudson Henriksen, who passed away at 18 months old from Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).
The Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness, support research, and provide resources and healing opportunities for families affected by the sudden and unexplained loss of a child.

Our Impact
Though we are just beginning, our mission is already taking root in meaningful ways.

Fundraise
Through our fundraisers — Huddy’s Hike and Hudson’s Holiday Ornament — we raise critical funds to support SUDC research, advocacy, and bereaved families through the SUDC Foundation.

Grief Support
We offer a Parenting After Loss support group for bereaved mothers — a space for connection, compassion, and healing.
As we continue to grow...
One of our most heartfelt goals is to host a retreat for mothers who have lost a child, creating a sanctuary of rest, support, and remembrance.

Providing even an ounce of peace
Through our partnership with Owlet Cares, we provide the Owlet Dream Duo Sock and/or Owlet Dream Sight Smart HD Baby Monitor free of charge to families who have experienced the loss of a child and are preparing to welcome another baby. or have surviving children. We understand the fear that comes after loss, and while nothing can take it away, our hope is that this support offers even the smallest sense of peace—helping families breathe a little easier, rest a little more, and feel less alone.
Help us carry on Hudson's legacy.
The Hudson Henriksen Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
